Brash Higgins signature amphora-aged Nero, from Australias original planting of Nero dAvola at Omensetter Vineyard. Fermented wild with 10% whole bunch in locally made, beeswax-lined clay amphoras, the wine remained on skins for 6 months to build structure and texture. The result is a vivid, savoury red with aromas of orange peel, pomegranate, cherry, stem ginger and spices reminiscent of a Negroni.
