The perfect partner in long-term maturation. American oak is perfect for long-term ageing which is central to what we do. Its less porous nature allows our whisky to slowly develop, resulting in vibrant layers of vanilla, caramel, and coconut and a refined, full-bodied complexity. Known for fast-growing, straight trees that are ideal for barrel production, American oak casks form the backbone of our range. Refill or second-fill means this barrel has been used to mature Sullivans Cove whisky befo
