Hioki Pot Still is made from both malted andunmalted barley then mashed, fermented and distilled in a copper pot still. The resulting new make is then transferred into both Virgin American White Oak and Ex-Bourbon casks to be matured at Kanosuke Distillery.Hioki is situated 10 minutes north of Kanosuke Distillery benefitting from the same climate and temperature which lends to the the rich, mellow whisky Kanosuke is known for.
