The distant sound of the sea, crackling, cracking brushwood underfoot and the fresh, resinous scent of the pine woods on the way to the beach. This experience, so typical for the island of Rgen, provided Markus, the founder of the Island Brewery, with the inspiration for the German Coast Double IPA. A single-hop double IPA strong, full of character, Nordically rough-edged, brewed with 100% German hops, pine cones, and pine branches. The roar of the Baltic sea captured in a glass. Resinous
